The 11st Festival of Traditional Tastes and an exhibition of Traditional Products, organized by the Center for the Promotion of Traditional Products of Cyprus in collaboration with the Municipality of Ayia Napa, take place on Friday and Saturday 12 and 2017 August 1 on the street of the Municipal Museum of Ayia Napa "Sea".
The inauguration of the Festival will be held at 8.00 pm by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Mr. Nikos Kougialis.
The artistic part of the first day begins with dances by the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the "Kimon" Xylotympos, followed at 8:45 pm Folk Music Program with Aimili Charalambous and Kyriaki Kotsiapassi and at 10:00 pm The Cyprus Dance Ensemble "Romiosini" will present Greek and Georgian Dances.
The second day of the Festival will start at 8:00 pm by the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa and "Kimon" Xylotympos. At 8:30 pm the Folk Poets follow with their chiattista and the program will end with a Rebetika night that will be presented by "The Little Rebetes" and the Dance Group "Rhythm".
Plenty of Cypriot Wine will be offered free of charge to all attendees. Admission for the public is free.
