The singer, who has adopted two children from this poor African country, said she hopes the ten new schools will help educate at least 1.000 children a year - half of them girls.
That number is double what she hoped to help with her previous project, the Girls' Academy, which was abandoned in March 2011.
Madonna said her charity Raising Malawi would partner this time with the NGO buildOn, which has built 54 elementary schools in Malawi over the past 19 years.
Madonna's previous plan to build a state-of-the-art school for about 400 girls just outside Malawi's capital, Lilongwe, collapsed last year and the foundation's board was fired.
Malawi is home to nearly half a million children who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic.
The announcement for this new venture by Madonna coincides with the premiere of the movie "WE", which she wrote and directed, while on February 3 the first dingle from her new album is expected to be released.
