The Chinese of the Jim Chang Global group are investing a large project of millions of euros in Cyprus.
This is a mixed development of a hotel unit with residential houses and apartments under the name Sun City Spa Resort & Residences. It will be built on the beach of Agia Thekli just a few meters away from the Marina of Ayia Napa.
"The estimated investment is at 100 million euros. Within the next 2 years, we plan to create an investment fund in Cyprus to attract new Chinese investors to the island, "said Tom Chang Chen, CEO of Jim Chang Global Group.
The goal of the Chinese investors is to turn Cyprus into a bridge for their descent into Europe. This is the first investment of the group in Cyprus from the many, as they emphasize, that will follow.
"Since 2015 we have been looking for the Cypriot market, which is attractive to Chinese investors. Through Chinese politics, a zone, a road and other investors will choose Cyprus as an investment country. "We want Cyprus to be a bridge for our investments in Europe," said Tommy Chen.
The construction works of the grand project which will be erected by the Jiovani group are expected to start in early 2017. It will host a luxurious five-star hotel with more than 200 rooms and 55 residential units.
