The Sotira-Deryneia road will cost 11 million

In 2017, the important road construction project that connects the Municipalities of Sotiras (Famagusta Street) and Deryneia (Stadiou Street) is expected to begin, according to the announcements of the President of the Republic on July 30 at the City Hall of Paralimni before the Mayors and Commonwealth Famagusta.

The plans are expected to be prepared in 2016, while the construction of the road is an urban planning project of the highest priority for the two Municipalities, as it will connect the Municipality of Deryneia with the coastal area and the highway, and the Municipality of Sotira with the new roadblock of Famagusta in Deryneia.

The project is mature and is expected to cost around 11 million euros without the expropriations, while especially for the Municipality of Sotiras it is a chronic request which enters the final stage of implementation.
