The closed monitoring circuits that exist in the area, which will be evaluated by the Police, are expected to shed light on the case. They have already received the closed surveillance circuit that was installed in the house and from a first examination it seems that the victim accepts the shots, without distinguishing anything else.

According to sources in the community of Pyla, the overcrowding of casinos - about ten - and the intense competition between them are the possible springs of murder. However, after the assassination of Georgios, the residents of the community of Pyla express fears of retaliation and new criminal acts.

"Tsikito" had been the target of assassins in the recent past. In June 2015, a triple murder in Larnaca was prevented at the last minute, and one of the three targets was George Georgiou.
