An amount of 17 thousand euros was obtained with false representations from a 55-year-old man from Liopetri, a 27-year-old woman from Deryneia.
According to the Police, yesterday a 55-year-old man from Liopetri complained to the Famagusta Police Department that between the years 2013-2015, a 27-year-old Greek Cypriot from Deryneia managed to extort 17 euros from him with false representations.
The 55-year-old also complained that the 27-year-old tried to extort the amount of 10 thousand euros from him in another period of time, also with false performances, but without success.
According to an arrest warrant, the 27-year-old was wanted by the Police, was located, arrested, interrogated and after being charged in writing was released.
