The 2nd Exhibition of Products and Services of the province of Famagusta, organized by the Famagusta Tourist, Commercial and Industrial Company from March 27 to 29, opens its doors tomorrow, Friday.
The exhibition will take place at the premises of "Zappeion Palace" in Deryneia and the inauguration that will take place tomorrow Friday at 8:00 p.m. will be performed by the Minister of Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism, Mr. George Lakkotrypis.
The exhibition is attended by companies from all over the province of Famagusta who will present their products and businesses to both locals and foreign customers.
It is noteworthy that the Municipality of Sotiras will participate in the exhibition with its own stand, which will present the beauties of Sotira and the local product of the colocasia, after its recent presentation as a Product with a Protected Designation of Origin. On Friday, the Municipality of Sotiras will serve at the kiosk its chips and velvet soup of colocasia, cauldron dip with zucchini, while on Saturday, at 13:30 it will serve a meal to the attendees with cooked Kolokasi Kappama.
The program will be strengthened by the presence of the President of the CTO, Mr. Angelos Loizou and the Distinguished Chef, Christoforos Peskias, who will speak on the topic of "Gastronomy as a source of emergence of added value for Cypriot Tourism, as well as Eleftheria Eleftheriou with the concert on Sunday night.
