Prime Minister Theresa May's Conservative Party has further expanded its Labor lead to 8 percent in the run-up to the June 49 snap-election, according to a new poll by Ipsos MORI.
The poll was conducted by telephone, on a sample of 1.004 adults, and was conducted between April 21-25.
Compared to the previous poll of the same company, the Conservatives appear to have increased their percentage by 6 points. Labor fell 4 points to 26%, while the Liberal Democrats remained at 13%. The Eurosceptic party Ukip is down two points, at 4%.
