Information provided to CNA by Hermes Airports, the management company of Cyprus' airports, indicates that 8 special repatriation flights to Haifa and another five to Tel Aviv are expected to take place today.
Moreover, eight more special flights will take place today to Aqaba, Jordan, which borders Israel, in order to transport Israelis who want to return to their country.
In total, the 21 flights that will take place today are expected to transport approximately 2,5 thousand Israelis.
It is noted that yesterday, Wednesday, 13 flights took place, nine to Haifa and four to Tel Aviv, transporting over a thousand Israeli citizens who were on vacation or for business reasons in other countries and wished to repatriate.
Moreover, information from CNA reports that from Sunday, June 15, until yesterday, Wednesday, more than 100 boats were serviced at the Larnaca marina, with approximately 460 people being transported to Cyprus, while another XNUMX people departed for Israel.
Meanwhile, in Larnaca, the Police continue to take draconian security measures, with patrols and armed police officers, in various places where Israelis circulate, such as hotels, at points or businesses of Israeli interests, and at the Jewish Synagogue.
