The province of Famagusta celebrates the 25th of March - Celebrations Program

The province of Famagusta these days celebrates the National Anniversary of March 25 with events, eulogies and parades in the free Municipalities of our province.

Celebration program:

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. Municipality of Sotira organizes the Pandemic Celebration of the National Anniversaries of March 25 and April 1. The speaker will be the President of the Democratic Alarm, Mr. Anerof Neophytou.

Pandemic Celebration is also organized by Municipality of Paralimni, tonight at 8 in the event hall of the Municipal Hall with an artistic program from Paralimni High School.

Tomorrow, March 25, at Municipality of Sotira The Doxology will take place at 9:15 in the Holy Temple of the Resurrection of the Savior and the Solemnity of the day will be delivered by the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Theodosis Tsiolas, while the parade will take place along Makarios III Avenue.

At Municipality of Deryneia The Doxology will be sung at 9:15 in the Holy Temple of All Saints and the Government will be represented by the General Director of the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Christos Malikkidis. The parade will take place on Eleftherias Avenue.

At Municipality of Ayia Napa Doxology will be sung at 9:30 in the church of Panagia Ayia Napa. The Festive of the day will be delivered by the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Tourism Organization, Mr. Costas Koumis.

At Municipality of Paralimni The Solemn Doxology will take place at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios, officiated by the Most Venerable Metropolitan Constantius-Famagusta, Mr. Vassilios. On behalf of the Government, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Christoforos Fokaidis, will be present, while the Festive of the day will be delivered by Mr. Napoleon Maravegias, Professor of the School of Economics and Political Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The provincial parade will take place at 11 on April 1st Avenue.
