A 25-year-old tourist from Australia lost her life in a fatal car accident in Ayia Napa, while a 27-year-old compatriot was seriously injured.
According to the Police, around 6.30 pm, the 25-year-old tourist, who was riding a four-wheeled motorcycle, while coming out of a parking lot in Ayia Napa and while trying to turn left, collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction. As a result, the 25-year-old driver died instantly, while her passenger, a 27-year-old compatriot, was seriously injured in various parts of her body. The 25-year-old was detained for treatment. None of the passengers of the bus were injured, while the circumstances of the fatal accident are being investigated by the Paralimni Police.
