A 4-year-old man from Sotira, a father of 37 minor children, was found dead in an apartment in Kakopetria, which he rented, around 2 in the morning.
Police rushed to the scene, members of which located the 37-year-old among various objects demonstrating drug use as well as various drugs, which will be sent for scientific tests to determine their identity. It is estimated that it is cocaine or possibly some other hard drug.
The 37-year-old was transported by ambulance to the Medical Center of Evrychos, where the doctors on duty confirmed his death.
An autopsy was performed at the scene by the medical examiner, Nikolas Charalambous, and at first sight it is estimated that it was a death from drug use. However, the exact causes of his death are expected to be determined after the legal autopsy on his body.
Unfortunately, the unfortunate 37-year-old, according to information, was a well-known person in the Famagusta Drug Control Service and in fact about a week ago he was located in a house in Sotira together with 3 other people by members of the Famagusta TAE, where an investigation revealed drugs.
However, he had managed to escape and since then he was wanted by court order, until Thursday, when the tragic finale was written.
