According to the Police, around four yesterday afternoon, following information received by phone, members of the Deryneia station went to Frenaros where they met, on the road outside a house, a 38-year-old self-employed person from Nicosia, in a state of intoxication and saying nonsense .
On the veranda of the house was his estranged 42-year-old wife from Frenaros, who complained that the 38-year-old had previously entered her father's house illegally, possessing a plastic bottle of flammable material with which he set fire and burned a plastic flower pot. worth 20 euros.
While the members of the Police were outside the house, the 38-year-old insulted the 42-year-old loudly in their presence and threatened her for life, while he also insulted a member of the Deryneia Police Station.
The 38-year-old was arrested for the spontaneous offenses he committed. Outside the house was his car parked with the doors and hood open. After an investigation, the Police located in the hood a plastic bottle with unknown liquid flammable material and an iron bar in the shape of "t", about one meter long.
The findings were taken as evidence, while the 38-year-old was taken into custody at the Ayia Napa Police Station. The items were transferred to the Deryneia Police Station.
