The 5th Pancyprian Meeting of Vespa-Lambretta, which was organized for the first time in the province of Famagusta, ended at the weekend.
More than 250 motorcycles from all over Cyprus visited our province, and had the opportunity to be hosted by the Municipalities of Deryneia, Sotira, Paralimni and Ayia Napa and to be guided to the unique sights of the area, such as the beach of Agia Thekla, Kavo National Park Greco, the river of Liopetri and the sculpture park of Ayia Napa, while they had the opportunity to see up close the occupied city of Famagusta from the Deryneia roadblock.
The 5th Meeting was organized for the first time in the province of Famagusta by the local club of Vespa in the province of Famagusta Vespa Club di Famagusta under the guidance of its President, Louis Mama and with the participation of vespa clubs from all over Cyprus.
The friends of the romantic two-wheeler had the opportunity on Saturday to be guided to the roadblock of Deryneia where they saw the occupied Famagusta and in the evening the Municipal Youth Council reserved a music party in Protaras square. On Sunday morning, the Municipality of Sotira hosted the Nissaki Ayia Thekla Beach Bar & Restaurant with a special music party with Live Link on Politia FM with Doxia Moutsouri-Maou and Stelios Panagopoulos.
The pan-Cypriot meeting ended as usual with the competition part, with a slow-moving race and a wheel-changing race at a music event organized for this purpose in the port of Ayia Napa by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
