A fatal work accident occurred last night at eight o'clock with the victim being Dimitrakis Kyriakou, 52 years old from Dimolofou, head of a renovation workshop at the building of the Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta in Paralimni.
The unfortunate Kyriakou while standing on a window sill of the Synod and was placing the wood unknown because he lost his balance as a result of which he fell out into a gap of six meters and was fatally injured. An ambulance was called to transport the injured worker to the hospital. The doctors on duty confirmed his death. A Safety Inspector of the Labor Office and police experts arrived on the spot to investigate the circumstances under which the new fatal work accident took place.
