64 students, mainly postgraduate and doctoral level, received scholarships from the Cyprus Youth Organization, in the framework of the "Students in Action" program.
This is a new grant program to support and empower students, which is implemented by the Youth Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The program is directly linked to the implementation of the National Youth Strategy and contributes to the achievement of the goals set in it. The purpose of the scholarships is to fund students to conduct research in the context of their studies, meaning that the subject of their research is linked to one of the themes of the National Youth Strategy.
It is the position of the Youth Organization that policies and decisions for young people must be based on valid data as reflected in reliable research. Through the granting of scholarships, research and documentation on youth issues is strengthened, since the research results will be used by the Organization for the preparation of policy proposals and programs for the youth of Cyprus.

The implementation of these programs serves the vision and mission of the Organization which is to contribute to the empowerment of young people, giving them the support and opportunities they are entitled to use their talents and skills for the benefit of themselves and society.
