The curtain of drama and the long-term agony of the family of the hero Kyriakos Kamilaris fell today with a 43-year delay.
Kyriakos Kamilaris from Trikomo was a soldier of the 399th Infantry Battalion and fell fighting heroically on July 22 in the area of Aspri Moutti in Alonagra.
The hero's bones were found and identified by the DNA method.
The funeral service was held today at 11 in the morning at the Church of the Archangel Michael in Frenaros.
