He added that "in order to serve the thousands of visitors that are expected this year at the Festival, the organized ensembles of the Municipality of Deryneia are preparing with their own kiosks and will sell food, drinks and various other strawberry preparations".
Mr. Karagiannis also mentioned that the Festival is under the auspices of the President of the Republic Dimitris Christofias.
Besides, the President of the Organizing Committee Niki Steka Artemi stated that “upon the entrance of the visitors to the Festival they will receive a free coupon, which they will present at the stands of the strawberry growers to receive the free fresh strawberries and the jams. There will be coupons for children to get free strawberry ice cream ".
He noted that "there will be a children's corner in the Festival and the people in charge have already started preparing the crafts and games that our little friends will be busy with. There will also be face painting and the children will be able to paint their faces with the colors and the design of the strawberry ".
Ms. Artemi also said that at the Festival there will be various kiosks from which people will be able to buy various types of food, as well as other Cypriot dishes.
He finally stated that "the artistic part of the Strawberry Festival has been undertaken by the singers Gerasimos Andreatos, Despina Olympiou and Georgia Christou, who will offer the public an unforgettable spectacular night".
