The Governing Council of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today completed during its meeting the 9th evaluation of the economic adjustment program of Cyprus and approved the installment of 126,3 million euros.
It should be noted that there is still one evaluation for the completion of the IMF program, which expires in March.
"The Board of the IMF completed today the ninth evaluation of the economic adjustment program of Cyprus, which is supported by the EFF. The completion of the evaluation makes the amount of 126,3 million euros available for disbursement, raising the total disbursements under the program to 792 SDR units, or approximately 1 billion euros. "Another evaluation remains to be completed", states a relevant announcement.
