An armed robbery took place shortly after four in the afternoon, in a supermarket located in Pallouriotissa. An unknown person offered a knife, threatened a cashier and managed to extract money.
The gunman disturbed both the staff and the customers of the store.
Police launched a manhunt and stopped the perpetrator nearby, handcuffing him.
