Flashnews.gr contacted the ad phone and from the other end of the line was revealed the story of another family that struggles every day to survive.

A 22-year-old girl who in a few days will give birth to her baby and her 30-year-old husband, thought of this way to be able to find a "free" baby-sitter for their baby as they have no money to pay for even the basics. for the new member of their family.

"We are very poor people and we do not have the money to get any help," said the 22-year-old, noting that her husband's job is not enough to cover their expenses and that due to the financial crisis they are not optimistic that something will change in the future.

The dimensions of the homelessness phenomenon and its coverage by the news, led them to invite a homeless person to their home, in exchange for taking care of the baby so that the mother can have help and time to look for a job.

Within 3 days that the ad has been published, 8 people, from 30 to 45 years old, most of them foreigners, have received a phone call, as well as a 50-year-old woman from Chania who is unable to pay her rent and is hosted by her daughter.

As the young woman explains, the people who called stay at home, but face the fear of being left homeless as they are unable to pay their rent, while they want to move with their families to the room offered.

However, this is not possible because the couple's house is small and unsuitable to accommodate another family.
