Extended episodes and interruption of the match in OAKA and Tsirio
AEL-APOLLON 3-1
Episodes occurred last night at the Tsirio Stadium, between Apollon fans and the Police, in the Limassol derby between AEL and Apollon, for the 25th game of the Pancyprian Championship.
Due to throwing crackers and sparklers by a portion of Apollon fans, the referee was initially forced to stop the match for a few minutes, while seven minutes before its completion, and while AEL was leading 3-1, the game was stopped permanently.
Police officers were stoned, while the press galleries were also targeted, with the result that the radio broadcast of the match was made from the official site.
The incidents continued outside the stadium, with Apollo fans throwing stones and crackers at police, who used tear gas to disperse them.
The Police proceeded to the arrest of a person, while the stone throwing caused minor injuries and damages in various parts of the Tsireio Stadium.

Sad episodes tarnished the derby of eternity in OAKA, which was permanently interrupted in the 83rd minute with Olympiakos leading 0-1 from 51 ′ thanks to a goal by Jamal Abdoun.

The perpetrators removed seats and threw irons at the police, who responded with flash grenades.
As long as the clashes lasted, the two teams remained in the locker room, with the result that the second half started with a delay of 50 minutes. The referee finally gave the green light with the explicit position that if the slightest thing is created, he will stop the game permanently.
An opera was performed in the 83rd minute, when the tension flared up again and there was a risk of fans invading the field. Kakos took the players of both teams and led them to the locker room, interrupting the derby for good.
Green supporters fired flares and Molotov cocktails at police, who responded with tear gas.
A fire truck entered the stadium to put out fires that had been lit in various parts of the stands.
