A 24-year-old tourist who lost control of his four-wheeled motorcycle and collided with an elderly car in Ayia Napa is fighting to stay alive. The accident occurred at 8:30 in the morning, on the road Agia Thekla - Ayia Napa.
The 24-year-old Swiss was riding the four-wheeled motorcycle, when under circumstances under investigation, he lost control of it and collided head-on with a car driven by a 74-year-old Briton with his 72-year-old British wife as a passenger.
As a result of the collision, the 24-year-old was thrown on the asphalt and injured.
He was then transferred to the Famagusta General Hospital and then, due to the critical condition of his health, to the Nicosia General Hospital, where he was kept for treatment.
The occupants of the vehicle visited the Paralimni Hospital for precautionary reasons. The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the accident.
