Another year, faithful to the appointment for the cleanliness of the coastal front of Sotira, the Sotiras Youth Center in collaboration with AEK Sotiras and the Famagusta Motorcycle Friends Club are organizing today, Sunday, June 16, at 18:00 the cleaning campaign that will start from of Agia Thekla in Sotira.
The summer season has begun and we will all visit the beaches of our Savior. Unfortunately the cleanliness in the surrounding area is not at the desired levels. Every year, since this activity has become an institution, the wish is that there will be no next one and that there will be a mentality and experience for everyone that we must protect our beaches and our Municipality from uncontrolled dumping of garbage.
All the inhabitants of Sotira are invited, young and old, families and children, all together to help us in this purpose.
An hour of our lives can offer us a whole summer of clean beaches. Let us not forget that the beaches are moments of relaxation, moments of carefreeness for adults and children!
