Stavros Charalambous aptly comments on the phenomenon of imitation of negative role models by young people…

What about our elementary school teacher? What about our high school teacher? What about the priest of our village? But our common leader? What about our Mayor? But the MP of our party? And the president of our party? The president of our team? What about our coach? And our gambler? But the actor…? But the singer…? What about our union? The businessman…? But the doctor…? But also the journalist ο? What about our abbot? What about our metropolitan? And our archbishop? And our provincial official? But our prefect? What about our minister? What about Judge…? What about our prosecutor? And our president? What about the director of our prisons?

Yes, we are amazed and wonder about the "achievements" of some people who should be role models in our society, but unfortunately with their actions, their unbridled ambitions, their whims and selfishness, they become imprints of decay and corruption. .

And then we wonder again why our youth break shop windows and shops and why the special guard - who is also young - pulls out a pistol and shoots a fifteen-year-old in the cold. And we wonder and do not believe in our eyes if indeed our own man, our man, the one we knew up close, the one who spoke to us and moved us and many times we cried, we rejoiced, we felt excited, we cheered him and we had him as a model , did what he did. And then… then without having the courage to acknowledge the truth, we try in various ways to cover them up and protect them. We forget both our ideals and our principles and our own religion. Why; Because he is our man, our man.

And we wait with so much decay and corruption through the remnants of unworthiness, freedom, inequality, unequal opportunities, partisanship and so many injustices for our youth to stand on its own two feet. With such standards we should be lucky that we do not have worse than our children. Yes, our children, our own children to whom we did not give principles, values, only our corrupt money but also our corrupt role models as parents, as their teachers.

I apologize and apologize news all over Greece and Cyprus for what I had a duty and obligation to do for you and I did not do it. APOLOGIZE.
