The THOK Budget for 2013 was discussed today by the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and is on the agenda of the Plenary Session of the Parliament for the vote next Thursday.

As mentioned in the explanatory note that accompanies the THOK Budget, the state sponsorship is the main source of revenue of the THOK which for 2013 includes an amount of 7.200.000 euros, showing a decrease of 114.000 euros compared to 2012.

It is further mentioned that the budgeted revenues of THOK from performances and tours are predicted that in 2013 they will amount to 741.980 euros without showing a change compared to 2012.

According to the note, an amount of 2.289.895 euros will be allocated for theatrical development, to which it is clarified that special importance is attached.

From the expenses of 2.89.895 euros, an amount of 651.350 will be allocated for obligations arising from the completion and delivery of the offices of THOK in the northwestern triangle of the old GSP in Nicosia with funding from the state.
