The number of voters in the Municipality of Sotira is 3.937, of which 3.788 are Cypriots and 149 are Communists.

However, the whole process of nominating the members of the Savior School Ephorate may lead to a reversal, as all the Parents' Associations of the Savior Schools, in a joint letter, express their support for the President of the School Ephorate, Mr. Stelios Pavlikkas. for his stay in the Presidency, as reportedly, he is appreciated by all and because of his undeniably successful tenure as President.
According to information, even the President of the School Ephorate did not want the election process but the formation of the Council of S.E. by people of common acceptance regardless of party premises, something that happened in 2011. This fact was not possible, due to the "bargaining" of party combinations, something that necessarily led to an electoral process.
The joint letter of the Parents' Associations is as follows:

With this letter, we would like to express our support for the appointment of Mr. Stelios Pavlikas for a second term as President of the School Rescue School. We believe that our statement expresses all the citizens of Sotira, as Mr. Pavlikas enjoys the appreciation of all. His many years and especially important contribution in the field of Education and especially in the schools of our municipality, as well as his successful tenure in the position of president of the School-Ephorate do not leave any doubt that he is the most suitable for this position.
The confidence of the Parents' Associations in the face of Mr. Stelios stems from the fact that as a teacher and primary school principal he has extensive experience in the field of education and is well aware of the procedures required in collaboration with various government agencies on issues related to our schools. . It has also been proven that due to his determination and especially the prestige of his personality, his requests receive a positive response from the competent government officials.
