According to the Police, shortly before ten last night, members of the Paralimni Police Station, while on a motorized patrol on Korai Street, noticed an unknown man walking in the middle of the street with visible intoxication and holding a folding knife in his left hand.
As soon as the man realized the presence of the Police, he started cursing, pointing the knife.
The man was arrested and taken to the Paralimni Police Station, where after examinations it was determined that he was a 42-year-old resident of Bulgaria, a resident of Paralimni.
The 42-year-old was taken to the detention center of the Ayia Napa Police Station where he was taken into custody. Police are investigating a case of drunkenness, anxiety and stabbing
