According to data released by the Agency on Friday, 343.054 are men (43,69%) and 442.149 are women (56,31%). This number shows an increase of 1,93% compared to the previous month.

The 319.917 unemployed (40,74%) are registered in the OAED register for a period equal to or greater than 12 months.

In the Region of Attica there is 35,14% of the unemployed looking for work from all over the country and in the Region of Central Macedonia 19,74%.

The age group from 30-54 years accounts for 63,17% of the registered unemployed, in the age group under 30 27,11% and over 55 years 9,72%.

The educational level of secondary education accounts for 46,92% of the registered unemployed, the educational level of compulsory education (up to 3rd Gymnasium) 36,77%, the educational level of higher education 15,16% and the educational level without education 1,16, XNUMX%.

The number of subsidized unemployed amounts to 302.331 people and appears increased by 19.304 people, a rate of 6,82% compared to February.

Recruitment announcements amounted to 46.459, increased by 15,59% compared to the previous month (40.194) and decreased by 11,22% compared to March 2011 (52.332).

Redundancies (termination of indefinite contracts) reached 22.111 (increased by 1,51% compared to the previous month and decreased by 5,16% compared to March 2011), expiration of fixed-term contracts by 13.497 (decreased by 8,08% compared to the previous month and reduced by 22,25% compared to March 2011) and voluntary departures at 18.415 (increased by 9,93% compared to the previous month and decreased by 3,48 % compared to March 2011).

The total number of terminations of indefinite contracts and the expiration of fixed-term contracts amounts to 35.608, 62,10% of which is due to departures from the labor market due to expiration of fixed-term contracts.

This size is reduced by 2,36% since February (36.467) and reduced by 12,45% compared to March 2011 (40.672).
