Applications should be faxed to provincial administrations.
Anyone who refuses to work will be perceived as uninterested and will not be called up again in future elections.
Interior Minister Neoklis Silikiotis said the election was the ultimate expression of democracy and could not be suspended.
The General Electoral Commissioner Andreas Assiotis appealed to PASYDY to reconsider its decision and clarified that despite the rumors, those who work in the elections will be paid normally.
A new meeting will be held tomorrow at the Ministry of Interior to assess the situation.
