At the event, the main speaker was Dr. Michalis Loizidis First Education Officer - Larnaca-Famagusta District Inspector. Greetings were addressed by the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Famagusta-Constantia, Mr. Vassilios, the Most Reverend Elder Father Georgios Ioannou and the Mayor Sotira Mr. Georgios Takkas.
The program included Hymns from the procession of the Three Hierarchs by the Hymn Singers of the Church of the Savior, poems about Education, Teachers and Parents, from the Catechism Meetings of the Savior and songs from the Choir of the Municipality of the Savior.
At the end, the award was given to the excellent students of Secondary Education for the school year 2010-2011, and to those who excelled in school competitions, sports events and international distinctions. The plaques were sponsored by the Municipality of Sotiras and the books by the Church of Sotiras.
