"An Enemy of the People" in Sotira

Another production of the Theatrical Organization of Cyprus in Sotira. The "Enemy of the People" by Erik Ibsen is an amazing social story, relevant as anything, on Wednesday, March 19 at 20:30 at the Municipal Theater Sotiras.

In a small town with natural wealth that promises great economic growth, a doctor turns from a savior into an enemy of the people when his scientific discoveries threaten to thwart his fellow citizens' plans for easy money. When big financial interests are at stake, the media turns against him, drawing public opinion as well. A classic work by Ibsen for a revolutionary who seeks the truth in a world where money moves everything, for one man only in front of many, to fight for the common good.
