Greece's exit scenarios from the common currency may still be heard from the most official lips and our country may appear in the first places in many negative lists, but the country has the honor to host the most expensive hotel room in the world… 

According to the well-known travel magazine Lonely Planet, but also the British newspaper Daily Telegraph, which hosts the list of the 10 most expensive hotel rooms in the world, the "royal villa" in Grand Resort Lagonisi is the most expensive room in the world with a price of about 38.000 euros per night !

With a "room" of 410 sqm and a garden of 640 sqm, the "royal villa" at Grand Resort Lagonisi includes two master bedrooms with spacious beds, a spacious living room with fireplace and dining area, two very large marble bathrooms, one in each bedroom, and a bathroom for guests. Even according to the official website of the famous hotel, the villa "has a desk with wired & wireless high speed internet access, laptop, printer, scanner & video phone with video. Other amenities include a separate bar area and a fully equipped kitchen with grill and BBQ by the outdoor heated pool. Additional amenities include a safe, plasma TV, a private massage parlor with a massage bed, mattresses and drapes with remote control, underfloor heating and a private car park, and according to the Daily Telegraph it also has a piano and a pianist!

In second place on the newspaper list is Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, at Palms Casino Resort with an overnight price of 30.000 euros and in third place is the Ty Warner Penthouse, in the Four Seasons, in New York with just 25.000 euros per night.

In fourth place is the Royal Penthouse Suite, at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva with a cost of accommodation at 23.000 per night and the top five is completed with the Bridge Suite, at The Atlantis Resort, in the Bahamas with a price per night at 19.000 euros.

They are followed by the Ritz-Carlton Suite, at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow with 14.000 euros per night, the Royal Suite, at the Burj Al Arab, in Dubai with 13.000 euros, the Royal Armleder Suite, at Le Richemond in Geneva with 13.000 euros, the Royal Suite, at Four Seasons George V, in Paris with the night costing 12.000 euros and the top ten ends with the "humble" Imperial Suite, at the Park Hyatt Vendôme, in Paris with "just" 11.000 per night…
