Answer to the date of September 21, 2016 of the Minister of Interior Mr. Socrates Hasikou in the question with no. 23.06.010.05.106, dated 3 September 2015, of the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Famagusta, Mr. Skeviis Koutra Koukouma.

a. The Central Housing Agency of State Services by letter dated 03/08/2015, granted its approval for the stay of the Famagusta District Administration in the building that is already housed today in Paralimni, ie the KYTHREOTIS GROUP building on Sotiros Street, as well as the tenant for the transfer of the services of the Prefect based in Larnaca.


b. In the same letter, the Central Housing Agency of State Services approved the relocation of the District Cadastral Office of Famagusta and the District Office of Urban Planning and Settlement of Famagusta in Paralimni, in the ARTAK LITMANI building in Apolli 1, Leori, Para.


c. The above letter was forwarded on 24/08/2015 to the District Cadastral Officer of Famagusta as well as to the District Officer of the Department of Urban Planning and Housing of Famagusta to continue the relocation process in consultation with the Department of Public Works according to the needs of the building. their.


d. The internal separations were agreed and the construction works were costed and the relevant contracts were prepared and signed. Except for the unexpected, the works are expected to be completed by February 2017 and the relocation of these Departments is estimated to take place in the immediate future.


e. Regarding the relocation of the District Administration of Famagusta to Paralimni, it was found that the modified plans have already been prepared by the development designer which will be submitted to the Urban Planning Authority for the issuance of the required permit by way of derogation.


g. The competent District of Famagusta consulted with the owner of the building that houses the District Administration of Famagusta in Paralimni for the settlement of all outstanding issues on his part, so that the use of office and other spaces becomes legal.


h. The possibility of implementation of the construction works by the State is being examined with a corresponding reduction of the rent due to the cost of works and payment of the fee for the building factor. At the same time, the signing of the required Pre-Agreement is promoted subject to the acceptance of the terms by the Owner.


i. The relocation of the Famagusta District Administration to Paralimni, due to the work to be done, is expected to be completed around November 2016, except for the unexpected. "
