"No, what is happening in Greece, although dramatic, is not a disaster. It is also an opportunity. Because the power of money has, for the first time, sharply exceeded the rate of the hitherto gradual, meticulous and carefully organized destruction of the public interest and human dignity. And in a country so famous for its philosophy of life, the antithesis of the Anglo-Saxon model, and famous for its tireless resistance to the many forms of oppression that have tried to curb it.
The Greek does not dance and will never dance on one leg, nor will he bend down enslaved, regardless of the regimes they want to impose on him. He dances with his hands, as if he wants to fly to the stars. He writes on the walls what he would like to read elsewhere. A bank burns when they can no longer afford to bake in its traditional barbecue. The Greek is as alive as the ideology of the threat of death. And the Greek, although beaten to death, in the end always gets up.
Yes, the Europe of economics wanted to set an example. But with her frustration hitting the country that seemed the weakest in the eurozone, in the midst of its excessive violence, her mask fell. Now more than ever, it is time to show its true face: that of totalitarianism. Because this is really about it. And there is only one answer to totalitarianism: the struggle, persistent and unyielding, to the battle, if necessary, as existence itself is at stake.
We have a world, a life, and values to defend. Everywhere on the streets, it is our brothers, our sisters, our children, our parents, who have been hurt before our eyes, even if they are far away. We are hungry, cold and in pain with them. All the blows they receive injure us equally. Every child in Greece who faints at school calls us to indignation and rebellion.
For the Greeks, it is time to say no, and for all of us, it is time to support them. Because the Greek people today are leading the fight against economic totalitarianism, which destroys public property everywhere, threatens daily survival, spreads despair, fear and debauchery through a war of all against all.
In addition to an emotional anger that erupts with the destruction of the symbols of oppression, it develops a clear anger of the activists who refuse to deprive themselves of their lives for the benefit of the banking mafia and its logic, that of "crazy money".
With the assemblies of direct democracy, the political disobedience movement, the "I do not pay" movement and the first experiences of self-government, a new Greece is emerging at the moment, rejecting the tyranny of the market on behalf of the people.
We do not know how long it will take for people to free themselves from their voluntary slavery, but it is certain that, in the face of the ridiculousness of clientelism, corrupt democracies, the ridiculous cynicism of the banksters state (banking mafia), we will have only choice -against any blackmail- to manage our own affairs.
Greece is our past.
It is also our future.
