Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglou said on Monday that at any time, President of the Republic Dimitris Christofias told him "my settlers or immigrants", to which he replied that "38 years have passed since 1974 and we no longer have immigrants. I think you have to solve the problems with your immigrants and the issues of immigration in these 38 years. "

According to the sources, Dervis Eroglou said that if the problems with the immigrants are not solved, the Government of the Greek Cypriots, as he called on the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, will be responsible for this.

The Turkish Cypriot leader said the Greek Cypriot side wanted more land than was planned in the Annan plan to settle the migrants.

He added that the Republican Turkish Party handed over the so-called "presidency" to the occupied territories yesterday, a document requesting that the territory remain as provided for in the Annan plan.

Mr. Eroglou said that he received criticism that he is uncompromising, as if President Christofias wants a solution, as he claimed.

It was reported that former T / C leader Mehmet Ali Talat had been negotiating for twenty months but no agreement had been reached.

Dervis Eroglou said he had asked the President three times to accept the January 4 agreement package presented by Mehmet Ali Talat and that President Christofias had responded negatively, and that this was recorded.

In his statements, the Turkish Cypriot leader claimed that the Greek Cypriot side rejected all the documents submitted to the talks so far, adding that if we give everything the Greek Cypriot side wants, we will eliminate the possibility of the Turkish Cypriots continuing to live in island.

Regarding the issue of citizenship, Dervis Eroglou said that all the "citizens" of the pseudo-state will continue to be "citizens" of the possible state that will emerge.

The T / C leader said that one of the tasks of governments is to grant citizenship, but if an agreement is reached, citizenship will be reduced quickly.

Concluding, Dervis Eroglou said that he believes that an agreement should be reached in Cyprus but that the rights of the Turkish Cypriots will not be granted to achieve this goal on the Greek Cypriot side.
