A fatal car accident, with the victim being a 52-year-old, happened today at noon, on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway at the Liopetri exit.
According to the Police, a 54-year-old man who was driving his vehicle, with the co-driver of the 52-year-old from Frenaros, crashed, under conditions under investigation, into a concrete wall and then came to a standstill.
The two injured were transported to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where a little later, the unfortunate 52-year-old succumbed to her injuries.
The 54-year-old driver is in serious condition, but out of danger.
The causes of the accident are being investigated.
