According to the Police, between the hours of 20: 30-22: 00 last night, members of OPE and TAE Famagusta and the Ayia Napa Police Station and with a specially trained member of the Force in matters of electronic gambling, raided a property is located on Odysseas Elytis Street in Ayia Napa, for which there was information that computers were installed that are converted and used as gaming machines.

Specifically, shortly after eight in the evening, a policeman under cover, holding four photocopied banknotes, three of 10 euros and one of 20 euros, entered the premises pretending to be the player to bet.

After entering the premises, he asked the person in charge to credit him with an account for the amount of 30 euros to play electronic gambling, paying with the three photocopied banknotes of 10 euros.

In her presence, 4 computer towers were seized as evidence, for which there were reasonable suspicions that they were converted and used as gaming machines, 1 modem, 1 DVR and a notebook in which the receipts and expenses of each day were recorded.
