A Swedish tourist who was injured in the early hours of the morning in a road accident is being treated at the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni with a bruise on his forehead and chin.
According to the Police, around 02.30 this morning, a tourist from Sweden, while riding his motorcycle on a road in Ayia Napa, for an unknown reason, lost control and fell to the ground and was injured.
The Swede was transported by ambulance to the Famagusta General Hospital in Paralimni, where the doctors on duty found that he had a bruise on his forehead and chin and was kept for treatment.
The doctors took a blood sample from the Swede for alcohol testing purposes.
The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Ayia Napa Police.
