Members of the Paralimni Police Station visited the restaurant where they found a 28-year-old from France sleeping on a restaurant sofa.
The 28-year-old has been busy with the police on various dates because he has no place to sleep, he is penniless and wandering.
The young man was arrested for the crime of a bum and wanderer and was taken into custody in Ayia Napa.
The Department of Foreigners was informed about the case and was asked to secure a detention and deportation order for the 28-year-old in his country.
The case is being investigated by the Paralimni Police Station.
