According to the Turkish Cypriot press, in a statement, the committee states that a change in the long-term status quo and the conditions it has created is inevitable. The communiqué refers to the MOEs, in the joint communiqué of 11 February 201 and expressed the view that the removal of natural barriers will contribute to the development of relations between the two sides.
Eliminating these obstacles will help to create common ground, increase economic relations and facilitate movement between the two sides.
