Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinator for Cyprus, Recep Akdag, who is conducting an illegal daily visit to the occupied territories, drank coffee with the Turkish Cypriots and Turkish residents at the Turkish Cypriot cafe in Rizokarpaso.

According to the Cyprus website, Mr. Akdag, after talking to the residents about issues related to health, education, tourism and especially the decision of the "court" to demolish tourist accommodation in the protected area (Chrysi Ammoudia beach), went for Friday prayer in the village mosque.

Earlier, the Turkish official visited the monument of heroes Marathas - Santalari, which was renovated with money and the financial aid office of the Turkish "embassy" in the occupied territories, where he prayed with those who accompanied him. He then visited the corresponding monument in Aloe, where he also prayed for the dead and left flowers on their graves. Immediately after, he spoke to people who were waiting for him at the sports club of Agios Sergios.

Recep Akdag is also visiting Kyrenia where he will also speak at the port with citizens and then begin his official contacts program. He will leave the occupied territories tonight. This is the second visit of the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, coordinator for Cyprus issues in a month to the occupied territories. The first time he visited the pseudo-state since taking up his new post in the Turkish government was on August 28th.
