The District Court of Famagusta yesterday sentenced a 23-year-old from Paralimni to four months in prison after finding him guilty after a hearing for the crime of threatening to use violence.
According to the Police, on September 23, 21, the 2014-year-old had threatened a police officer of YKAN Famagusta that he would harm himself and his children, if he dared to investigate him again. The complaining police officer, at an earlier stage, had participated in a search of the home and premises of the 23-year-old.
