Emotional Event of the Aetolian Cultural Society for Famagusta (video)

The coordinator of the evening was Panagiotis Kontos, University Professor and President of AIPOE and spoke Andreas Voskos, Emeritus Professor of the University of Athens, Kyriakos Charalambidis, poet, and the Mayor of Famagusta Alexis Galan.

It should be noted that the delegation from Famagusta attended yesterday in Messolonghi, the events celebrating the 186th anniversary of the Exodus of the heroic Guard of the Free Besieged of Messolonghi since this year Cyprus is an honored country.

11:00 a.m. • Laying wreaths at the Tomb of the Heroes by students and pupils.
5:30 p.m. • Twinning Ceremony of the Municipality of the Holy City of Messolonghi with the Municipality of Famagusta Cyprus.
