Ayia Napa: Fire in a hotel from overheating in a dryer bucket

A fire was brought under control, which broke out in a hotel in Ayia Napa from overheating and ignition of clothes inside a dryer bucket.

According to the Fire Department, at 23:32 a message was received by the Fire Department for a fire in a clothes dryer, in the laundry room on the ground floor of the four-storey hotel "Marina" in Ayia Napa. Four firefighting vehicles from Famagusta Station responded to extinguish it.

The fire was brought under control at 01:00 fire.

5 ventilators were used and ventilation was performed with ventilators. At the same time, a search was carried out for possible injured or trapped people, since the hotel was evacuated first. None of the tenants were affected.
