The Education Service Committee came out of the impasse created by the occupying authorities, after several months from the beginning of the new school year, they agreed with the proposed principal of Rizokarpasos High School.
As of this morning, Alexandra Koulia-Koukotsika assumes her managerial duties. It was not only the position of the director that was rejected by the Turkish authorities and that made the EVS difficult, as the list of those rejected continued to grow until October, while at the same time the recruitment of teaching staff in the position of biologist and French teacher is pending. .
The smooth operation of the school is predicted by the forthcoming appointment as since September the school unit has been operating without responsibility for the managerial duties and, therefore, part of the teaching staff was burdened by this role.
After a series of problems, which concerned either the non-approval of the teaching staff or the improper distribution of books in the occupied Greek school, things seem to be improving. Of course, it remains a fact that only last month the rejected ones reached six, with the last one being a mathematician.
