"Through the visual arts I am making a virtual protest, it is a virtual protest for the evil of Cyprus for this and I set them up outside this building", said 49-year-old Efstathiou, speaking to KYPE.
As he said, "people passing outside the Central Bank and seeing twenty toilets in a row, I think they are receiving the message and have an opinion so that they can understand what happened and our country has reached this point."
Describing the toilets that he built, Mr. Efstathiou said that it is a toilet, which, as he said, has two sides, since it is a toilet from the front, while when seen from behind it refers to a tombstone.
Mr. Efstathiou said that he met with the Representative of the CBC Aliki Stylianou, in which he stated the reason why he placed the improvised toilets, while he also informed the Police, who came to the place to check the whole situation.
