The newspaper quotes real estate agent Aylin Pelin Onar, who is active in the occupied territories, as saying that British owners are selling the properties they bought to return to England.
The reason, according to Onar, is the problematic situation of British banks, which makes it difficult to repay the mortgages put by the British who bought real estate in the occupied territories.
It is added that the Russians have replaced the British in the last year, but their number is not able to compete with the Russians who buy houses in the free areas of the Republic.
It is reported that this is due to the facilities provided by the Republic of Cyprus to Russian buyers, on the basis of an agreement, while it is added that similar steps should be taken by the pseudo-state.
Finally, the report states that since January 2012, the number of buyers of real estate from Turkey has increased.
