Adviser to the Turkish President Yigit Bulut expressed regret over the statements of Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci on the Cyprus issue, while he wondered whether Turkish citizens would go to Cyprus with a Schengen visa after a solution to the Cyprus problem.

He said that those who dream of separating Cyprus from Turkey with board games, then let them be ready to pay the same price that Turkey paid with the blood of its heroes. He called on the EU, Britain and Germany if they want to get Cyprus to pay that price. Gigit Bulut also spoke out against Britain, saying that no one had announced what happened on the night of July 15 at British bases in Cyprus.

In an interview with a Turkish television program, Yigit Bulut said he was upset by statements made by Turkish leader Mustafa Akinci earlier on the same channel. "Why did he (Mustafa Akinci) use the phrase 'let us enter the EU first. Until today, the East has helped us, from now on let us help the East'? The East needs neither the EU nor anyone else. The Turkish Republic has a GDP of close to one trillion today and has the largest army in the world. "Turkey does not need any help from Cyprus in the EU," said Gigit Bulut.

"Let me also say this, who benefits from the 'tdbk' together with the island of Cyprus being a member of the EU and the Turkish citizens going to Cyprus with a Schengen visa? I ask this for weeks and leave it there. Today, the EU did not keep its promises to Turkish citizens, did not keep its word about visa liberalization, did not keep any of its promises to the Customs Union. "It has not kept any of its promises of financial aid and has also given refuge to terrorists such as the PKK and FETÖ," he said.

Mr. Bulut stated that "after all this, with the rise and participation of the 'tdbk' of Cyprus, which is an important island for Turkey, to be fermented in a dough, it is unacceptable to hand over the Turkish existence in British hegemony. The Turkish Republic does not intend to accept such an agreement, which would lead in this direction. "Therefore, only those who believe with British minds and EU minds that they are deceiving Turkey and will bring this game that has been going on for centuries to a point are deceiving themselves."

He went on to say, “How did we get Cyprus back? With the blood shed by our heroes we got it. If an EU country or England, Germany, wants to take Cyprus and agree to pay the same price, here, there is Cyprus, let it go. Those who dream of board games to separate Cyprus from their homeland Turkey, which we took with the blood of the heroes, then let them come if they are ready to pay the same price. Do not trust either the British bases in Cyprus, or the logic of the queen, or the games of the EU, or the European Parliament that housed the terrorists, or those we raised in Turkey. "Those who want to take it, we give every inch of Cyprus that was watered with the blood of heroes against blood".

He added that "we will not give a shred of land to Anatolia, nor to the south-east, nor to the Mediterranean, nor to the Black Sea. If someone wants to take Cyprus, the only way is to give his blood for every inch of land, as our heroes gave. Cyprus is a Turkish homeland and until we all become heroes it will be a Turkish homeland. I challenge those who dream the opposite. The lies of the EU are now reaching this country. EU membership, exit to the EU, now reaches them. On the night of July 15, no one announced what happened at the British bases in Cyprus. Was an army waiting in the Mediterranean to enter Turkey or not? Questions were asked about all this and there was still no answer. Therefore, in a situation where an attempt is being made to conquer Turkey, those who dream of ending the existence of the Turkish flag and banner in Cyprus, which is the greatest sign and symbol of our existence in the Mediterranean, will be disappointed. If you have the strength and courage, you can pay the price to get the Cyprus that we paid with the blood of each of our heroes ".

It should be noted that Gigit Bulut is an adviser to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on economic issues and often provokes reactions with his statements to the press. There had been a stir in the past when in 2013 he stated that some forces were trying to assassinate the Turkish President by the method of telekinesis.
