The beginning of the route, which aims to raise money to support children and their families, was announced by the Minister of Health George Pamporidis, who participated in the procession on his motorcycle.

In his statements, George Pamporidis praised the work of the Association to help children and their families who are being tested.

"Cancer is now knocking on the doors of all homes in Cyprus, unfortunately, and no one can cross this road alone. So it is very important for you who are close to the pain of these families, whose children are going through this ordeal, to show the way and to the others who can and want to help so that no one goes through this unjust path alone. At the same time, the Minister of Health praised the contribution of the motorcyclists, who combine the offer with their love for the motorcycle.

For his part, the President of the Association "A Dream A Wish", George Penidaex said the Love Route started last Wednesday with visits to schools, while during the weekend the motorcyclists and volunteers of "A Dream A Wish" will be stationed in towns and villages, where representatives of the Local Government, the Church, cooperatives, associations, companies and individuals, will be able to make their contributions to authorized members of the Association.

"It's an appointment we have every year for 17 years now. We are all together, we are a team, a fist to send the message of awareness around the multiple problems faced by children suffering from various forms of cancer and their families, to "Let's raise money, which is the driving force for a charity to make these children's best dreams come true, because for these children too, their dreams should not be elusive," said Mr. Penidaex.

He thanked everyone who mobilized for this campaign and even left their jobs and families. "These children deserve it, we adults deserve to have this army of volunteers in the days that we go through the discounts of values", he concluded.

On behalf of the motorcyclists, Dimitris Angelidis said that the motorcyclists have been by the side of the Association for 17 years because they have believed in his work.

Finally, he said that the message that motorcyclists want to pass on is the need for motorcyclists to return safely and the strengthening of volunteerism.
